Dr. Gillian Currie is a health economist by training, and has been working with Dr. Marshall at University of Calgary on projects related to the socioeconomic impacts of juvenile idiopathic arthritis, and rare diseases over the last seven years. She has been fortunate to be able to collaborate and co-create with patient and parent research partners on this work, and is passionate about how these partnerships truly power the progress of meaningful and impactful research. An example of this is the PAVE project where we are co-creating with patient and parents a framework to capture all the ways that JIA affects families. https://cassieandfriends.ca/research-pave/
