Champions of Change
At Fragile X Canada, our mission to create a future where Fragile X is fully understood and supported would not be possible without the unwavering dedication of our community.
Champions of Change

A Heartfelt Thank You
We are deeply grateful for each and every contribution, whether it’s a donation, a sponsorship, or simply sharing your story. Together, you have not only supported vital research and advocacy but also built a stronger, more inclusive community.

“Fragile X is not who he is.
Fragile X is not who I am”
— Audrie and Sydney
Audrie and Sydney came together with a shared purpose, to educate and inspire. Their individual journeys, one as a devoted sibling and the other as a passionate self-advocate, led them to the Alberta Children’s Hospital, where they shared their stories with medical trainees (residents). Through their lived experiences, they provided invaluable insight into the realities of rare disease, helping to shape a more compassionate and informed future in healthcare. Their voices are powerful reminders that behind every diagnosis is a person, a family, and a story worth telling. We look forward to sharing their full stories here, continuing to inspire and strengthen the community around us.
Audrie wants the world to know that Seth changes the lives of those
around him for the better, and she is here to make sure his story is heard.
Sydney wants the world to recognize the challenges but also take the time listen to people and find ways to help them succeed.
