Julie Otieno, MBA, PMP, is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Womb Atlas. Based in Calgary, she brings more than 15 years of experience across consulting, infrastructure, and health equity, including a former management role at Deloitte. Her expertise spans strategy, organizational development, partnerships, and fundraising. Julie holds an MBA from Cornell University and a degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the University of British Columbia.

As a Board Member of Fragile X Canada, Julie brings a personal family connection to Fragile X and a parent’s perspective to her work. She is committed to ensuring individuals and families have a voice in decisions about research, services, and support. Drawing on her professional experience and Kenyan-Canadian perspective, Julie aims to strengthen partnerships and sustainable funding, advance research that improves lives, and help families find understandable information and reliable support.

We are so pleased to welcome Julie Otieno to the Fragile X Canada Board of Directors. Julie joins us as we grow our national work and build stronger connections across research, care, community, and advocacy.

Julie brings valuable experience in strategy, partnerships, and fundraising, alongside a personal family connection to Fragile X.
