Celebrating Our Graduates

Every milestones tells a story of strength, growth, and possibility.
Across the Fragile X community, graduates are reaching important milestones in their own ways and on their own timelines. From kindergarten and high school to post-secondary education, employment programs, life-skills learning, and community participation, each accomplishment reflects growth, perseverance, support, and possibility.

This page is a celebration of the graduates in our community and of the families, educators, friends, and supporters who have encouraged them along the way.

Graduate Spotlight

Eren

HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE

Toronto, Ontario

Eren is graduating from high school, and this is a huge milestone for him.

His teachers say that his laughter will be missed at school. Eren has always been easygoing, happy-spirited, and great at following through and completing whatever he starts, and school was no exception. That’s why we are so happy for Eren and incredibly proud of him for pushing his limits and successfully closing this chapter of his life.

He’s currently celebrating with family in Turkey, and I’m sure he’ll be even happier when he returns and realizes that he no longer has to pretend to be sick just to avoid going to school. 🙂

Next up: What’s next for Eren? Well we’ll figure that out together a bit further down the road. But first, he’s going to take a well-deserved break and enjoy the summer with friends and family.
